Share the Air
Privacy policy
Draft for the private beta. This page will be reviewed before public launch.
Share the Air helps you find women’s sports to watch, attend, play and follow. You can browse without an account. This policy explains what we collect if you sign in, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- From Google when you sign in: your name, email address and Google’s account ID for you. We don’t receive your Google password, contacts, files or anything else.
- What you choose to tell us: the sports, leagues, teams and athletes you follow; games and programs you save; sports you want to play; and, optionally, a city or ZIP code.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in on this browser. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it.
We don’t ask for or store your precise location, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your preferences.
- To show your sports first and build your schedule, news and nearby suggestions.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We don’t sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its database.
- Google handles sign-in, under Google’s own privacy policy.
Links to leagues, broadcasters, ticket sellers and organizers take you to their sites, which have their own policies. We only link to them; we don’t share your account with them.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account while you use it. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. That immediately and permanently removes your profile, follows, saves and sign-in sessions.
Children
Share the Air isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly create accounts for them.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Questions? Contact us at the contact email listed on this page once it’s set up.
